This boutique hotel in Old Istanbul has a total of 27 rooms spread over 3 floors, including 22 standard rooms, 2 deluxe rooms, 2 suites and a separate family annex with one master bedroom with en suite bathroom and one single room. The hotel blends old-world charm and modern amenities in a friendly atmosphere guaranteed to put guests at ease. The hotel is a tastefully restored 19th century mansion located next to the world famous Church of the Chora, on a hill above the Golden Horn. The restoration was carried out in 2005. It is a tranquil home away from home to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Istanbul while remaining close to the sights. It has a lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facility, cloakroom, bar, dining and parking facilities, WLAN access, as well as room and laundry services (both subject to fees).

The rooms are decorated in the style of the early 1900s, with lace curtains, authentic carpets and prints of Old Istanbul. All rooms are fully equipped with en suite bathroom, double bed, hairdryer, Internet access, television, minibar, telephone and radio. All rooms have central heating.

The well known à la carte Asitane restaurant is renowned for its fine Ottoman cuisine, based on authentic recipes retrieved by a dedicated staff from palace archives. The menu features dishes originally prepared for the sumptuous celebration feast given for Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent's sons in 1539. In the summertime, the courtyard in the shadow of the Chora Church offers a splendid backdrop in which to sample fine Ottoman cuisine.
